How it works

1. Consultation

Understanding your needs and the limitations of your property is a must, so the first step in the process is a consultation with Darren, the owner of Eco Pools. He’ll take a look at the intended site, discuss the style of pool and/or spa you’re interested in and pinpoint anything that needs careful consideration.

2. design

Then we can move onto designing your brand new swimming pool or spa! We will work with you to create a design that both meets your needs and complements your property. The design process includes the selection of materials and colours, as well as incorporating any landscaping or fencing that is being undertaken.

3. construction

We begin construction by setting out the designs and excavating the site to the appropriate depth (if applicable). The framework is installed, the pump and drainage systems are installed, and concrete is sprayed around the framework to form the shell. Finally, the shell is tiled or rendered and the coping is laid.

4. Voila

Once the shell has cured and the finishing touches (tiling, rendering, coping, paving, decking and so on) are applied, your swimming pool is ready to be filled with water and enjoyed. Before signing off completely on your project, our team will show you how to use the various systems we have installed.

FAQ’s

-
1. What is the average cost of a swimming pool?

This is a difficult question for us to answer, as it will completely depend on the size of the project, the complexity of the construction, the type of finishes selected and the amount of features added (if any). The best way to determine a cost for your swimming pool is to contact our team for a quote.

-
2. What sizes and depths are available?

As our designs are completely custom, the pool can essentially be as big or small and as deep or shallow as you like! From small court yard shells to large family-style pools, the sky is the limit!

-
3. How long does it take to install a pool?

Generally speaking, it takes between 6 and 10 weeks for construction to be complete (if excavation is required – projects that don’t require excavation can be completed in less time). Please keep in mind that more complex designs will take longer to complete; the best way to determine an accurate timeline is to get in touch with our expert team.

-
4. Can you repair/renovate an existing pool or replace a spa?

Yes, we can perform repairs and extensive renovations on existing swimming pools and spas. Please see our Pool Renovations page for more information.

-
5. What sorts of tiles do you use?

Tiles have long been considered a premium finish for swimming pools – they offer significant aesthetic appeal and durability. There are generally two types of tile that are used for such purposes – ceramic and glass.
